
Oleg Tsarkov is a founding Managing Partner at Svarog Capital Advisors. Oleg is in charge of strategic development of the firm. He also supervises the firm’s activities in retail, FMCG and commercial real estate.
Oleg Tsarkov has closed a number of M&A and public markets transactions. From 2000 to 2003, Oleg Tsarkov served as the Head of Investment Banking at Troika Dialog (www.troika.ru). Under the management of Oleg Tsarkov, Troika's investment banking gained a leading position in the Russian mid-cap IB advisory market and was ranked #1 ruble bond underwriter.
From 1996 to 1998, Oleg Tsarkov was the CEO at Creditanstalt Grant, the leading Russian brokerage at the time. While working at Creditanstalt Grant, Oleg was a member of the National Association of Stock Market Participants (NAUFOR), Depository Clearing Company, and the Russian Trade System (RTS).
In 1999, Oleg acquired a Master's degree in international finance markets at ISMA Business School at the University of Reading (U.K.).
Evgeny Rudakov joined Svarog Capital Advisors in January 2006. His primary areas of focus are the consumer product and real estate sectors, including deal screening and structuring, strategy development and business process optimization. Evgeny represents Svarog Capital Advisors on the Board of Directors of SPAR Moscow and SPSR-Express.
Evgeny has 8 years of experience in the Russian private equity market. Prior to joining the Fund, he worked at Delta Private Equity where he was an Associate with a focus on investments in the consumer products and services market. While at Delta Private Equity, Evgeny was actively involved in building such successful projects as SPAR Moscow, SPAR Middle Volga, and the Radisson SAS Hotel St. Petersburg. From 2000 to 2002, he was a senior consultant specializing in financial services at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Evgeny holds a Ph.D. in economics and a BA in investment management with honors from St. Petersburg State University for Economics and Finance and a BA degree in economics from Anhalt University for Applied Sciences in Bernburg, Germany. He has been a member of ACCA since 2003.
Mikhail Stukalo specialises in deals in retail and FMCG sectors. Mikhail represents the Fund on the Board of Directors and Management Boards of Holiday Group (member of the Management Board), Polair (member of the Board of Directors)and AutoPlus (Chairman of the Board).
Prior to joining Svarog Capital Advisors, Mikhail was a Vice President in the investment boutique, SARS Capital, where he executed a number of M&A deals in FMCG and oil & gas industries, including the acquisition of Stepan Razin Brewery by Heineken and the acquisition of oil assets by West Siberian Resources.
Prior to that, Mikhail was a Project Director at the Moscow office of AES Silk Road, where he was responsible for the development of AES strategy in Russia and CIS. He was also an Associate at Troika Dialog, where he was involved in a number of capital market and M&A transactions such as the first CPI-linked bond issue in Russia (Wimm-Bill-Dann) and the first mortgage-backed issue (Moscow Mortgage Agency).
Mikhail received a BA in Economics with honors from the Moscow Institute for International Relations (MGIMO).
Evgeny Kaltashev joined Svarog Capital Advisors in May 2005. Evgeny coordinates deals in the FMCG, retail, real estate and IT sectors. He is responsible for managing and monitoring SPAR Moscow, SPSR-Express and Competentum portfolio investments. Before that Evgeny represented Svarog Capital Advisors in Multinational Logistic Partnership (MLP).
Prior to joining Svarog Capital Advisors, Evgeny served as an investment manager at Arkley Capital for 2 years and was involved in M&A and debt financing transactions and evaluation of investment projects in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals industry.
Evgeny graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Financial Management.
Andrey Daleky joined Svarog Capital Advisors in June 2006. His primary focus is on the retail, FMCG and manufacturing sectors. Andrey is currently involved in managing Holiday, Polair and Auto Plus portfolio investments as well as in the development of pipeline projects.
Andrey holds a BS in Economics with honors (2004) and a MS in Finance with honors (2006) from the State University – Higher School of Economics.
Alexei Perekhojev joined Svarog Capital Advisors in 2005. Alexei currently oversees the financial aspects of the funds’ operations and is responsible for communications with the investors of the funds. Alexei has been involved in the structuring and establishment of the Svarog Capital Advisors funds. Alexei is also involved in managing Natur Produkt, Healthy People and Relogix investments as well as in the development of pipeline projects.
Prior to joining Svarog Capital Advisors, Alexei Perekhojev served as an Investment Director of Basic Element, one of the largest Russian financial holdings, where he was responsible for selection and evaluation of investment projects, also serving as a member of the Investment Committee at Basic Element. Before this, Alexei served as a consultant in the Moscow office of McKinsey and Co. (2000-2002), where he worked on a variety of consulting assignments with leading Russian companies. Prior to McKinsey and Co., he worked as an equity research analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston (1997-98) and audit consultant at Price Waterhouse (1995-97).
Alexei received an MA degree in physics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and an MBA degree from Yale University (2001). Alexei is a CFA (2001) and ACCA (1998) charter holder.
Elena Kuryatnikova is the General Counsel of Svarog Capital Advisors. She joined Svarog Capital Advisors in April 2004. Elena has been involved in the structuring and establishment of the Svarog Capital Advisors funds. She supervises the legal aspects of the funds’ acquisitions, exit transactions and portfolio management.
Before joining Svarog Capital Advisors, Ms. Kuryatnikova worked at several major international law firms such as Chadbourne & Parke LLP and Milbank, Tweed and Hadley & McCloy LLP. Elena has worked extensively with Russian and multinational clients in structuring, negotiating and implementing significant domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, project finance transactions, securities offerings, private equity deals, financial products and securitized loan transactions.
Ms. Kuryatnikova graduated with honors from the law faculty of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in 1994.
Tatiana Fokina joined Svarog Capital Advisors in April 2008. She supervises the legal aspects of acquisitions, exit transactions, and portfolio management.
Before joining Svarog Capital Advisors, Tatiana worked for 7 years at the international law firm Herbert Smith. Her practice extends across a broad range of corporate and finance work and includes M&A, joint ventures, private equity and project finance.
Tatiana received her law degree from Moscow State Law Academy in 2000 and LL.M. degree from Cambridge University in 2001.
Vladimir Lastovsky joined Svarog Capital Advisors in October 2008. Vladimir is involved in managing and monitoring portfolio investments in the retail and express delivery sectors.
Prior to joining Svarog Capital Advisors, Vladimir worked at the investment banking department of Dresdner Kleinwort’s Moscow office and the corporate finance department of KPMG, where he was involved in a large number of M&A, due diligence, valuation and strategic advisory transactions of companies specializing in financial services, construction and retail sectors. His experience include the disposal of Expobank to Barclays, the acquisition of Bank Republic by Societe Generale, the disposal of a leading Moscow construction holding, as well as the valuation of the Rolf Group of Companies and EADS.
Vladimir holds MS and BS degrees in Economics from the State University - Higher School of Economics.
Alexey Igoshin joined Svarog Capital Advisors in January 2008. Alexey is in charge of market and industry research, investment projects analysis, business valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence. He is currently involved in the development of IT and retail companies under management.
Prior to joining Svarog Capital Advisors, Alexey worked for Ernst & Young as a senior consultant in the quantitative finance department and was involved in the structuring and valuation of complex financial instruments.
Alexey holds a MSc in Applied Mathematics with honors (2005) from the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Natalia Tsvetkova is the Compliance Officer of Svarog Capital Advisors. Natalia joined Svarog Capital Advisors in April 2004. She has been involved in structuring and establishment of Svarog Capital Advisors Funds. She is in charge of the Representative Office operations in Russia and supervises corporate administration of the Fund and its portfolio companies.
Natalia received her law degree form Moscow State University (MGU) in 2008.
